Recent Taskrol releases — features and improvements we ship for owners, office staff, and technicians in the field.

  1. Technician pay and diagnostic authorization

    • Choose how each technician is paid: a percentage of eligible closed-job margin or an hourly rate from recorded work sessions.
    • Hourly technicians can start and stop time on assigned jobs; On My Way or ETA can begin a session, and job completion stops it.
    • Collect a customer's diagnostic-fee acknowledgment before troubleshooting, separate from later repair-estimate approval.
    • The dated diagnostic signature and fee stay on the job and can appear on invoices created for that service call.

  2. Billing and sign-in reliability

    • Subscription checkout now collects a billing address when you attach a payment method.
    • Web sessions use refresh tokens so you stay signed in more reliably across tabs and devices.
    • Marketing site updates: About page, clearer post-login routes, and smoother app handoff after sign-in.

  3. Web Reports builder

    • New Reports builder on web — customize columns and export the numbers you need for weekly reviews.
    • Card net column shows payout amounts after card fees so reconciliation matches what hits your bank.

  4. Overview dashboard on web

    • Overview stats now follow the date range and calendar period you are viewing — not a fixed “today only” slice.
    • Invoiced totals load from live job data so the dashboard stays in sync with what is on the schedule.
    • Cleaner Overview layout: stats above the calendar, jobs panel at full height, less duplicate chrome.

  5. Team schedules and web settings

    • Company weekly schedule UI — set when your team is available and keep dispatch aligned.
    • Storage and Payment Account settings restyled on web with the same shell as Reports.
    • Online Booking and My Money use consistent top tabs on web.

  6. Sign in with Google and Apple

    • Google and Apple sign-in on the marketing site and web app — fewer passwords to remember.
    • Subscription page with card attach, plan picker, and a 7-day trial before your first charge.
    • After sign-in from taskrol.com, the web CRM opens with your session already in place.

  7. Field workflows that shipped first

    • Multi-company support — switch companies without logging out between service calls.
    • Shopping Lists so technicians can request parts from the van instead of texting photos to the office.
    • AI-assisted invoice drafting to cut down evening paperwork.
