Yes, with the optional Voice & SMS add-on: phone numbers, SMS templates, and automatic appointment, on-my-way and job-status texts. The drive-time ETA in those texts is the separate Automatic ETA & tax rate add-on. It uses compliance-friendly consent (opt-in) flows so you can text customers responsibly.

Yes, migration is available. Housecall Pro (the customer list), Workiz and Markate import directly in the Taskrol web app under Settings → Database import. From any other system, send your export to [email protected] and our support team does the migration for you — we move what your old system exports.

Yes, with QuickBooks Online, on the Basic and Pro plans. The company owner connects it in Settings → QuickBooks with Intuit's sign-in and maps Taskrol's line types to QuickBooks items once. From then on each job's customer, invoice, payments, tips, card surcharges and refunds are sent to QuickBooks as the job is completed and paid, one way from Taskrol. For a bookkeeper who prefers a file, the web report on Basic and Pro also exports a CSV of jobs with revenue, card net received, margin, parts cost, taxes, and tips.

Yes, on the day's map. Every visit is a pin numbered in schedule order with its arrival time, and the dispatcher plans and optimizes the route there by setting that order and dragging jobs between technicians and hours. Work is assigned by each technician's work schedule and service area (ZIP codes).

Search the model's parts list or open its parts diagram on the job and add the part: it lands on the job and on the shopping list with its part number. The lookups use the Encompass appliance parts catalog, with no Encompass account needed. Buy the part from your supplier as you do now and record the quantity, the price and the supplier with Buy on the job. When the part arrives, mark the job Parts received and it shows in Ready to install, waiting to be scheduled.
