What is included in the free plan?

Solo is appliance repair CRM and field service software for an owner-operator. It includes unlimited jobs and customers, scheduling, the appliance on every job, parts, van and warehouse inventory, estimates, invoices, signatures, and card-payment workflows for one technician and one company. There is no trial clock on Solo.

Basic and Pro are for businesses that need AI-generated invoices, additional users, multiple companies, and team workflows, and Pro adds a shared company warehouse. Voice & SMS and the AI Agent are optional add-ons, so a small repair business can begin with the free CRM and add paid tools only when they are useful.

Automatic ETA & tax rate

$10 per user per month ($120 per user on yearly billing). Taskrol looks up the sales-tax rate by ZIP code and computes a drive-time ETA for the customer. The plain “On my way” text itself comes with Voice & SMS.

Pricing questions

How much does appliance repair software cost per month, and what gets billed on top?
Appliance repair software is usually a monthly plan, and the total is decided by what gets billed on top of it: extra users, the business phone line, AI call answering and card processing. Per month, Taskrol costs $0 for Solo, $29 for Basic and $129 for Pro. Solo is for one technician; Basic includes 1 user and Pro includes 3 users. On top of the plan, and only if you use them: $29 a month for each additional user, $100 a month for each additional company, Voice & SMS from $25 a month, AI Agent packs from $49 a month (or the one-time $10 AI Agent trial), and Automatic ETA & tax rate at $10 per user per month. Card payments cost 3.4% + $0.30 per successful transaction. There is no setup fee. Parts diagrams and van and warehouse inventory come with every plan, and AI-drafted invoices with Basic and Pro, so none of them is an add-on.
Is Solo really free?
Yes. Solo is $0 a month for one technician and one company, with unlimited jobs and customers. It is not a trial and never turns into a paid plan. Additional users, team roles and technician scheduling start on Basic.
What does a team cost?
Basic is $29 a month for one paid seat, and you can add unlimited subcontractors, each working in their own Taskrol account. Pro is $129 a month with 3 users included. Each additional user is $29 a month.
Are AI invoices an add-on?
No. AI-drafted invoices are included in Basic and Pro. The paid add-ons are Voice & SMS, AI Agent minute packs (plus the one-time AI Agent trial), and Automatic ETA & tax rate.
Does Taskrol record calls?
Yes. Call recording is part of the Voice & SMS add-on, and recordings play back from the customer's call history in Taskrol.
Is there a yearly discount?
Yearly billing on Basic and Pro costs 10 months instead of 12. Voice & SMS tiers and AI Agent packs are billed monthly.
Can you move my data from my current software?
Yes, migration is available. Housecall Pro (customer list), Workiz and Markate import directly in the Taskrol web app under Settings → Database import. From any other system, send your export to [email protected] and our support team does the migration for you.
