The short answer
Taskrol integrates with the Encompass appliance parts catalog (Encompass Supply Chain Solutions, encompass.com). With a model on the job, Taskrol fills in a missing brand, loads that model's parts list into the parts search, looks up part numbers and opens the model's exploded-view diagrams. It connects with its own account, so you need no Encompass login, and it places no orders: you buy parts from your supplier as usual.
Encompass Supply Chain Solutions (encompass.com) is a large distributor of OEM appliance parts, and its website is one of the places technicians look up a model's parts, part numbers and exploded views — usually on a phone, in a browser tab, with the part number copied back into the job by hand.
Taskrol brings that catalog to the job instead. The model on the appliance is what gets looked up: the brand fills in, the model's parts list backs the parts search, and the diagrams open from the appliance. The integration is for finding parts, not buying them.
How the Encompass integration works on a Taskrol job
- Type the model on the appliance. Enter the model number on the job's appliance, or on an appliance in the customer's record. When the catalog recognizes the model and the Brand field is empty, Taskrol fills the brand in; a brand you typed yourself is left alone.
- Save the appliance on the job. Saving it starts a background lookup of that model's parts list and exploded views, so they are often ready by the time you need them. The first time a model is opened on Taskrol, the drawings can take a moment to prepare.
- Search for a part by name. In the job's parts search, type a word from the part's name — “gasket”, “pump”, “fuse”. Catalog matches for that model appear with their part numbers, above what you already carry in your own stock. Tap a match and Taskrol offers to add that part, with its number and description, to the job's shopping list.
- Or look it up by part number. Type a part number. If it isn't in your stock, Taskrol looks it up in the catalog and shows the part's description, and one tap puts it on the job and the shopping list.
- Open the diagrams. Tap Diagrams on the appliance to page through the exploded views for that model and read the part numbers listed under each drawing.
- Buy it where you always do. Order the part from your supplier as you do now. When you buy it, open the part under Parts on the job, tap Buy, and record the quantity, the price you paid and the supplier.
No Encompass account, nothing to set up
The lookups run through Taskrol's own connection to the Encompass catalog. There is no login to enter and no account number to link: put a model on a job and the catalog answers for it.
The brand from the model number
Type a model number and Taskrol fills in the brand when the catalog recognizes the model, so you don't have to type it. It only fills an empty or “Unknown” brand, never one you entered.
Data-plate photos checked against the catalog
When Taskrol's AI reads a data plate from a photo — on Basic and Pro, in the mobile app — the model it read is checked against the catalog. A character or two misread off a worn plate is corrected, a brand it couldn't read is filled in, and the appliance type comes from the catalog's description of the model.
That model's parts list, searchable in plain words
The parts search on a job looks through the part descriptions for the model on that appliance, not a generic list, so “gasket” finds that model's gaskets. Your own stock shows in the same results.
Part numbers looked up for you
A part number that isn't in your stock is looked up in the catalog and comes back with its description, so the line on the shopping list says what the part is, not just a string of digits.
Exploded views for the model
Parts diagrams are on every plan, including the free Solo plan. The exploded views for the model open from the appliance on the job, page by page, with each page's part numbers listed under the drawing.
A lookup, not a store
Taskrol doesn't place orders with Encompass, show your account's prices, stock or delivery dates, or handle returns and warranty claims. You buy parts where you buy them now and record what you paid on the job.

Does Taskrol integrate with Encompass?
Yes. Taskrol integrates with the Encompass appliance parts catalog from Encompass Supply Chain Solutions (encompass.com). It uses the catalog to fill in the brand from a model number, to search that model's parts list on the job, to look up part numbers, and to show the parts diagrams for the model.
Do I need my own Encompass account?
No. Taskrol connects to the catalog with its own account, so there is nothing to sign up for, link or configure. The flip side is that Taskrol doesn't see your Encompass account: your pricing, stock, orders and deliveries don't come into the app.
Can I order parts from Encompass inside Taskrol?
No. Taskrol doesn't place orders with Encompass or any other distributor. A part you find goes on the job and the shopping list; you order it from your supplier as you do now — Encompass included, if that's who you buy from — and record the quantity, the price and the supplier with Buy on the job.
Which plans include it?
Parts diagrams are on every plan, including the free Solo plan. The brand from the model number, the model's parts list in the parts search and part-number lookups are on every plan too, with nothing to switch on. Current plan prices are on the pricing page.
What if my model isn't in the catalog?
The job works as usual. The brand isn't filled in, so you type it; the parts search shows your own stock without catalog matches; Diagrams says “No diagrams for this model.”; and any part can still go on the job by its number. Coverage depends on the model, and some refrigerators need the full model number with the revision suffix from the nameplate before the catalog finds them.
Does Taskrol show my Encompass prices and stock?
No. Taskrol isn't signed in to your Encompass account, so it shows no prices, availability or delivery dates for it. What a part cost is what you enter when you record the purchase on the job.
Does the integration bring in service manuals?
For some models, yes. When the Encompass catalog links a service manual to a model, Taskrol keeps that manual, or a link to it, in its manual library for that model, next to the manuals already on file. Service manuals come with the Basic and Pro plans.
Does Taskrol integrate with other parts distributors?
Not today. The Encompass catalog is the parts catalog built into Taskrol, and Taskrol doesn't order from any distributor. Whoever you buy from, you record the supplier on the part when you mark it bought.
