Estimates and Invoices — One Document, Up to Three Options, One Invoice
How quoting works in Taskrol: the customer owes the service call when the technician leaves, the repair price waits for approval, and the option they sign turns into the bill.
Quoting is where a repair shop loses days. The number was said on the phone, nobody wrote it down, and a week later the argument is about the price instead of the machine. This animation follows the paperwork of one visit: what the customer owes the moment the technician leaves, and what happens to everything else.
The part worth noticing is what a customer cannot do. Nothing is ever rejected, so a quote that goes quiet is not a lost job — it is a job still waiting, and it can be signed a month later without anyone rebuilding it. A shop that prices a repair two ways, patch it now or replace the assembly properly, can put both in front of the customer and let the signature decide.
The longer walkthrough of the same screens shows where the buttons live, and the diagnostic-fee guide covers the signature collected before the machine is opened.

In Taskrol, an estimate and an invoice aren't two separate documents. It's one document, and it changes as the job moves along. While it's an estimate, the customer pays only for the service call — the diagnostic. Nothing more.
The repair price stays on it. The customer can open it next week, or next month, and approve it then. There's no decline button. They either approve it, or they just don't press anything.
One job can carry up to three estimates — say, a basic repair and a more complete one. But a job only ever has one invoice. The option the customer signs becomes that invoice, and you get a notification right away. The other options are marked Not selected.
They stay on the job, for the history. Estimates and invoices come with every plan, including the free one. Taskrol.com.
