Warranty Callback in Appliance Repair Software — One Tap From the Original Job
Book a warranty return visit from the job it belongs to: pick the technician and the day, text the customer if you want, and the new job links back to the original.
Warranty returns are the visits nobody gets paid for, so they are easy to lose: booked from a blank form, they arrive without the history of the original repair, and in a report they look like ordinary work. This short covers the booking side of a callback in under a minute.
Watch where the booking starts — on the completed repair itself, not in a new form — and the link the return visit keeps back to it. Contact details, address, notes and appliances come across; parts and invoices do not, so the return trip starts clean. Unpaid warranty visits also stay out of the job counts in reports. The step-by-step version is on the warranty callbacks feature page.

Here's how a warranty call works in Taskrol. A customer calls -- something you fixed for him a while back is acting up again. Open that customer, and his whole job history is right there on one screen. Find the job he's calling about.
Right from that job, open the menu, tap Warranty Call, and pick the technician. Set the day it'll be done, choose whether to text the customer about the visit, and save. That creates a new warranty job, linked back to the job it came from. One tap on that link, and the technician sees exactly what was done last time, and what was billed for it.
And from there, the technician works the warranty job just like any other job. Warranty work, tied to the original job. Taskrol dot com.
